Russian stocks to fluctuate moderately at opening on mixed factors
MOSCOW, Apr 27 (PRIME) -- The Russian stock market can demonstrate modest movement at the opening on Wednesday in light of mixed internal and external factors, analysts said.
“We expect the main trading session to open with modest fluctuations… Considering the current high volatility, the MOEX Russia can move significantly in any direction at the opening, but there are conditions for continuing Tuesday’s growth trend,” Vitaly Manzhos, senior risk manager at investment company Algo Capital, said.
Senior analyst at financial supermarket Banki.Ru Bogdan Zvarich sees no reasons for recovery of the market and believes there are risks of sales in local shares amid persisting geopolitical risks and a worsening external environment.
Asian stock exchanges are losing around 1.2%, except for China’s market, which increased by 1.8%. Core U.S. indices futures are adding up to 0.7%, and the Brent oil price grew by 0.5% to U.S. $105 per barrel, he added.
